This is a Brand New Gentex Auto-Dimming Mirror with HomeLink® and Compass part number 50-GENK45A. The compass display is Blue. The display shows the compass heading only, it does not display the outside temperature. Everything included in this kit is Brand New and is covered by a 3 year / 36,000 mile Limited Warranty.  This mirror uses the latest Gentex technology included in the 2006 and newer mirrors. CLICK HERE to see some of the enhancements to the 2006 and newer Gentex HomeLink mirrors. The compass requires no additional wiring, it is self contained within the mirror. Just hook up the included universal wiring harness and you're ready to go. This is the same mirror that is an upgrade in many brands of new cars. This mirror would make a great upgrade for your standard rearview mirror. It will dim automatically to reduce the glare from headlights behind so you don't have to fumble with adjusting the mirror every night. It also has 3 HomeLink® buttons to open garage doors and operate lights. It will work with any garage door opener including "rolling code" openers, Genie, Craftsman, etc... This mirror mounts to the windshield with the "wedge" style mount used on most vehicles and is a direct fit for most cars. This kit contains everything needed for a complete installation. A Gentex wire harness, Wire Taps and Wire Ties. I am also including the wire cover that runs from the mirror base to the headliner to cover the wire harness for free. The addition of the wire cover makes for a complete, professional looking installation. You would have to pay an additional $7 to $10 at most other places to get this wire cover. The included easy to follow instructions walk you step by step through the installation process. Also included are operating, compass calibration and HomeLink® programming instructions. If you need a Wedge style windshield mounting tab, it is available free upon request. 

  **This is a Universal Kit. It can be installed in any vehicle. If your vehicle uses the windshield mounted Wedge style mirror mounting tab like most cars do, you can simply remove your current mirror and put this one on your existing mounting tab. If your current mirror uses a different mount or mounts to the roof, you need to request a free Wedge Windshield bracket to install this mirror to your windshield.
