The 2008 Kenwood KDC-MP738U has lots of upgraded and usable features over the 638 model.  This new model which just came out has a 64 color full graphic display!  In addition to the full motion graphics built in, it also displays multiple lines of colored text, so you can navigate through your songs and menus seemlessly!  This model has also been upgraded with a built in ipod interface through the USB input!  This model also has an interactive illumination effect which is only found on select models.  This has a fully detachable flip down face!

This model has a Detachable Face so that you can keep your receiver safe when you leave your car at night.

The KDCMP738U has amazing audio features, so your system will have a lot of power and amazing sound quality.  This has a 200 WATT (50x4) MOSFET high powered amplifier.  Your speakers will sound twice as loud as most stock receivers! 

This plays all the latest formats including CD/MP3/AM/FM CD-R/CD-RW/WMA/Sirius/HD and more.

This is a very expandable receiver too!  It is Ipod and Bluetooth and satellite radio ready!

Kenwood found a way to pack every feature into this receiver with a hot display and still keep the price very reasonable.  This is easy to control because it has a rotary encoder.

There is an aux input to hook up a portable device such as MP3 player, ipod, etc.  For even more listening options there is a USB input with a full USB interface built in.  This means you can charge your USB device and control it directly from the receiver!  You can hook your ipod up directly to the USB port as well, and get full ipod controls through the receiver!  The ipod interface is built in!  No expensive accessories. 

Kenwood included the amazing music editor software which allows you to organize, manage, and transfer songs to USB devices. It also creates play lists and categorizes them automatically based on the tempo, beat, music type, etc.
