This item must be delivered via truck freight due to size. Whether the item will be installed immediately or not, you MUST inspect the item before signing any paperwork – even if the box doesn’t look damaged. You are allowed to take the item out of its packaging to inspect for damage.

Your item is insured by the trucking company that delivers it – NOT by Auto Metal Direct. If you find the item damaged, you MUST have the driver note the damage on the delivery receipt.  If the damage is severe, please refuse delivery due to damage and call our office immediately - we will take care of the claim and send you a replacement immediately. If you find the item damaged after you have signed and accepted the item and the damage was not noted on the delivery receipt, neither Auto Metal Direct nor the trucking company will be able to help you with a claim.  By signing the delivery receipt, you are certifying that you have received the item in good condition.  If you ship to someone other than yourself, you must let them know to inspect the hood for damage.  If they sign the delivery receipt certifying that the item was in good condition when it arrived and you find any damage after the fact, neither Auto Metal Direct nor the trucking company will be able to help you with a claim.

For both residential and business deliveries, you must provide a telephone number for the trucking company to be able to get ahold of you in the event they need to talk to you about the delivery.  If shipping to a business address you must provide the name of the business along with the address.

Payment Information

PayPal is the preferred method of payment.  Remember, you can use PayPal to pay with any major credit card or by electronically paying from your checking account (In order to pay electronically from your checking account, PayPal's first-time set-up takes a few days and may delay the shipping of your item).  We will accept personal checks, Money Orders, Cashier’s Checks and most major credit cards.
