You are looking at a hard to find, Great Deal, for a 19’ 1997 Ranger 518 DVS Commanche and also a rare color Black and two tone Gold flake. The boat comes with 200 HP Evinrude Vindicator which is a great model.  This is arguably the best hull design Ranger made. The hull is an aggressive design that is fast, handles great and with the smooth Ranger ride. I get a lot of compliments on this boat, however it is not in perfect condition, of course the boat is almost 13 years old. I bought the boat 3 years ago from an elderly man that took good care of the boat, he bought it off of a friend of his. I believe I am the 3^rd owner.  Since I have owned it I have had the engine completely gone over. I had leak down test done and all cylinders checked out good. We did a complete tune-up. The boat is a little cold blooded when you first start it and smokes some, once it is warm it starts and runs great with no smoke. Never left me stranded.  I have always had the boat in the garage and in 3 years the boat has been on the water maybe 25 times, very little hours on the engine.  Check out the pics, you will see there are some areas where the carpet has worn through. I was going to replace the carpet just never got around to it. The original owner must have hit something or got hit by someone, there is some body work that was done on the right rear and they didn’t do a very good job fixing it. Could use a better touch-up. The spot really doesn’t bother me because people don’t seem to notice it and if the boat was perfect I would be scared to use it. The boat does not leak at all, solid boat. The trailer is set-up with surge trailer brakes but they do not work. I pull the boat with a trailblazer and stops very easy, doesn’t need trailer brakes. The wheels are oil filled hubs, the left side needs new cap and seal. I greased the bearings just like standard wheels and have used it this way for a long time and would not be afraid to drive it anywhere. Trolling motor MinnKota 24v 74LB. thrust. Comes with Ranger on board charger.  One of the Trolling motor batteries needs to be replaced, it doesn’t take charge very good.  Good Year tires have around 2k miles on them. The boat comes with a stereo and Humminbird 987C color w/GPS. This unit new is $2,300. Boat fits in most garages and with single axle is easy to maneuver. This boat will make someone very happy. If you can find another boat like this one, the asking prices that I have seen were between $13-18K without the 987C.  The only reason I am willing to sell the boat so cheap is our newborn baby girl has some health issues and we financially need to sell. I searched a long time to find this boat.
