New Aluminum 2008 Ameratrail Trailer, 24, 25, 26, 27,28
Vehicle Description

 Up for auction is my Brand new Ameratrail Trailer. It has less then 50 miles on it, I recently bought it for my Velocity 280, but the trailer with fit a 26 or 28 foot boat. The trailer has never actually been in the water, I used a crain to lift the current hull onto the trailer. Only reason Im selling it is because I'm buying a trailer with a crash box built into it for my race boat. I just recently paid 6,000.00 for this trailer from the manufacturer.

Trailer Specs:
  • Aluminum I beam construction
  • Powder coated to completely seal trailer
  • Stainless hardware
  • 4 wheel Disc surge brakes
  • Torsion suspension
  • Aluminum mag wheels
  • HD rated tires
  • Spare wheel and tire mounted on tongue
I also wanted to add that the current boat shown is a true 26 foot boat shown with out the swim platform. This exact boat with a molded swim platform is considered a 28 foot boat in today's standards.
  •  This trailer will work with a  24 foot boat (with or with out a molded swim platform) up to a 28 foot boat with a molded in swim platform). A true 28 foot boat that is measured with out a swim platform is too long for this trailer.
  • The trailer can have its Bow stop moved forward or back to work with as little as a 24 foot boat (a new Velocity 260 is a 24 foot boat with a molded 2 foot swim platform), or it can also with with as much as a 28 foot boat ( 26 foot boat with a 2 foot molded swim platform).
  • This trailer will not fit a 22 foot boat that has a molded swim platform that's considered a 24 foot boat.
  • This trailer will not work with a boat that measures 28 feet not including the swim platform.
24, 25, 26, 27 and 28 foot boats (that include a molded swim plat form when measured) will all work on this trailer

 Q: Nice looking trailer. I read the discription twice, but missed the gross weight? I have a 25-30 ft boat (outboard motors) but it is very heavy at about 9000lbs. I need to know what this trailer is rated at? Thanks, Glenn
A: I believe the trailer has a 7000 lb capacity. Are you sure thats the correct boat weight ?
