A well-made product like all Craftsman tool. Rugged and durable. I only wish there had been a full-featured step-procedure user manual included in the case with this tool. Being a novice torque wrench user I really wanted to learn about my new torque wrench so was forced to go on YouTube for basic tutorials on how to use a torque wrench. This Craftsman torque wrench is a pretty generic model so I found a large number of YouTube videos about how to use it but would have welcomed a complete reference user guide in the plastic case.

I'm rebuilding a Yamaha 350 engine, and need inch-pounds, and 3/8 drive...low torque settings on an aluminum engine casing. Can't over tighten, and needs to be accurate. This wrench feels sturdy in your hand, and has 15-inch-pound increments on the twist grip (0-15) between major increments on the shaft. Unlock a twist ring, twist the increments to whatever you need, lock the twist lock ring.....and use it. When you reach your torque setting, the shaft suddenly yields, and you're done!

I wouldn't say it's actually better than expected but it seems to be good and performed it's function as it should. Already have the ft.lb. 1/2" drive version and it works well too. Neede the in. lb. one to work a modern Hemi engine. Great price on this one.

Used the Micro-Clicker on my Auto Tranny pan bolts which require 120 inch lb of torque. Click was easy to hear and feel. Sprayed black paint in scale and then wiped so it was easy to see. Checked torque against my calibrated Dial Torqometer, and results were the same. This is a good clicker, and a decent price.

The torque wrench is great because it has newtons-meters which is the unit use most on the European cars. Great product numbers easy to read
