Heavy Duty Tool that Works Very Well and Lasts a Long Time.
I have used this to pull the ball joints on my 1998 Mercedes 320E Wagon and also to pop the anti-sway front joints on my 2004 Jeep Rubicon. Both jobs would have taken far longer with a wedge tool and hammer. This tool fits nicely into small spaces and is super heavy duty. I have really torqued down on the black bolt and the entire tool has held up well. It has earned a spot on my shop wall. Removing a drag link on vintage vw bus: I used 16 inches of cheater on the wrench, pushing with all my strength. With LOTS of torque in, I hit the tool nose with a hammer, hard. Bam! the joint came loose. Hoorah!

This tool cannot be used on a BMW e39 front suspension. The forks have a round face that causes the tool to slip off the bold when any pressure is applied and the bite is not wide enough.
