Item Specifics |
This is a Nolan N40 3/4 open-face helmet. The size is Nolan "S" and will work great for many kids and others with relatively small heads. I wear a L and I couldn't get it over my normal-sized noodle. This helmet came from the estate of a friend and I am 100% positive that it has almost no use. That's also evident from the pictures. The paint is superb, the shield is clear and the lining looks clean and brand new. The quality is top notch. The shield is clean and clear with no scratches. I was given the helmet and don't really want to keep it. Whatever money it brings will go to Special Olympics, 100%. I will be glad to prove that claim to you after the sale. I'm putting a "Buy-It-Now" option on it for $60. (They're $150+ in mail-order catalogs and online - check it out.) For the $60, I'll pick up shipping within the United States. If nobody "Buys It Now" then I'll accept a regular auction result and charge $10 shipping. If you take advantage of the "Buy-It-Now" option then please send $60 via PayPal and you'll get it soon. If it goes to auction, submit your winning amount plus $10 to PayPal. In either case, feel free to email me at mmorris@se.edu and we'll square everything if you don't use PayPal. This is a top-of-the-line helmet well worth the money. Check my other auctions - I have 5 helmets listed - all of them very nice. Note to bidders: if you do the "Buy-It-Now" option and PayPal makes you pay freight, then I'll refund it in an envelope inside the helmet when it ships. - Mike Added note #2 to bidders. I want these helmets (as of right now I have 4 left) to go to good homes. If you get one for $10, then with shipping you'll have a $20 helmet, which is a steal! I think they're worth the "Buy-It-Now" price (which includes shipping), but I'm gonna let them go for whatever they bring. So, start bidding! - Mike P.S. If you don't believe me about giving the money to Special Olympics, I will be more than happy to send you proof of the transaction. I have a 21 y.o. son with Downs and that program (which is not a charity!) is near and dear to me. |
