BRAND NEW GENUINE NISSAN!

Brand New Nissan 300ZX Z32 90-96 Fuel Pressure Regulator.  This item is a real bugger at times and causes many Z's to run too rich or too lean, as this controls the fuel dampening, when your injector pulses, it causes a momentary drop in fuel pressure and spikes, this items job is to dampen the pulses so there is steady pressure and is important for the proper running of your 300ZX.  This would be a ideal item to replace once every 7 years as the diaphram inside has a tendancy to get stuck or leak fuel on old units.  How can you check if yours been changed out or not?  Well a good hint is that the factory ones that came out from Nissan were originally paint flat black, so if you have a black one, its the VERY old version that is more then 12+ years old!!  This part is on the passenger side of the intake plenum just below the air balance tube.
