Solid tool.
Love this tool. I am installing two floor pans in my MGB and would otherwise have to drill over 100 holes in each without this thing. No mess, i have the holes popped in within 10 minutes vs. an hour by drilling. hole size is great for plug welding and appears to be able to punch through 20 ga. easily.

the tool works good, easy to use. the only drawback seems to be that it makes the hole to close to the edge if the metal. I wish you could insert the metal into the punch a little further to get a greater distance from the edge.

Works well.
I have used this numerous times to punch holes for spot welding and for forming lapped joints. It works great on any material 14 ga or thinner. It punches a 1/4" or so hole and crimps about a 1" width per actuation.
