This auction is for an ORIGINAL 1962 or 1963 MAX WEDGE - INTAKE MANIFOLD
This "vintage" CHROMED Intake Manifold was sitting at a friends place for years - He recently passed away and I'm selling it for his widow.
Casting number is: 2402728 - The last digit on the casting number is hard to read - It looks more like an "8" than a "6".
That Casting Number would make this a 1963 Manifold but will fit the 1962/63/64 Max Wedge Heads
The Intake is in Excellent Condition - Looks to be uncut or modified - Still has the Original "plugs" for access to intake bolts.
It was only "chromed" externally - NO chrome or modifications to the ports or runners - Chrome is "peeling" in spots.
Amazing that the smaller primaries for the 3447 Carbs are untouched, usually someone has enlarged them to take the 3705 Carbs or the carbs "holes" have been cut-out totally.
Overall, it's a Very Nice Intake Manifold - Ready for a Maxie Car.
