1965 OLDSMOBILE 2 DOOR POST CUTLASS 442! ORIGINAL FOUR SPEED CAR! FULLY RESTORED AND ABSOLUTELY ASTONISHING IN PERSON! ALL NEW FROM BUMPER TO BUMPER! BIG BLOCK 455 WITH OVER 600 HORSEPOWER! CUSTOM LEATHER INTERIOR! OVER 60K INVESTED! LOADS OF DOCUMENTATION!

     I must say that this is by far the hottest Oldsmobile I have ever had the privilege of playing with. With super smooth lines, comfortable interior, and a screaming 455 that is pushing well over 600hp, well it is everything you could ever want out of any muscle car. You will get a fairly good idea of what I am talking about when you see and hear the video located below. I am actually selling this 65 for a good friend of mine who absolutely loves this car and really had no intentions of parting with it. He is not a huge collector. This is his one and only toy. I can assure anyone who is interested that once you see it in person and actually get to feel it, you will not have any second guesses about owning it. We have over 60k dollars in receipts that will go with the rest of the documentation that we have.

Engine & Mechanical: The engine within this 65 is a 455 v8 that came from Don Mann. It came from a 1970 Oldsmobile. It has been professionally built, balanced, blue printed, and is in excellent mechanical order. It does not smoke, leak, or burn an excess amount of fluids. It is absolutely sound. It also has less than 2,500 miles on it. Here are just a list of details:

• MSD 6al Ignition
• MSD HEI Distributor
• Aeromotive High Volume Fuel Pump
• Russel Braded Fuel Line
• Russel Fuel Regulator and Gauge
• Edelbrock Aluminum High Rise with 1" spacer
• Remote trunk battery mount
• Taylor 8.5 mm ign wire set
• Custome made polish aluminum radiator

The motor is nicely complimented by a brand new set of dual 3" Flowmasters which put off an absolutely tremendous and fearful sound. The motor is powered by a new 850 Double Pump Holley Carburetor which is also in excellent mechanical order. The 65 does not burn too rich nor too little, it is perfectly tuned. As you will see below, the car ran in the low 11's on its one and only pass at the track. The transmission within this 65 is a fully rebuilt 400 turbo automatic with a manual reverse valve body and transmission brake. It also has a Hurst Quarter Stick shifter. It too does not leak or burn an excess amount of fluid. It shifts through its gears smoothly just as would be expected from a car of this caliber. It too has less than 2,500 miles on it. Both the transmission and motor were built and installed at the same time. The ten bolt rear end has been completely gone through and is geared at 4:10 with Richmond gears. It too is in excellent mechanical order. The entire brake system is all new and is also in excellent working order. The 65 does not pull or make any odd noises when stopping. All of the electrical components have been completely gone through and are also in excellent working order. The headlights, tail lights, brake lights, signals, gauge cluster, everything has been redone and is in excellent working order. Even the factory stereo is in good working order!

Body: The most remarkable aspect of this Cutlass is the fact that it does still retain all of its original sheet metal with the exception of the hood. It is an original Colorado car which is where it has spent the majority of its life. There is absolutely no rust or bondo anywhere through out this Cutlass. It is 100% solid and straight. The floors, trunk, quarters, roof, rockers, doors, fenders, 4" Cowl hood, everything is 100% solid and in excellent shape. It was professionally repainted and the best way I can think to describe it is as a Gray/Platinum Sandstone color. It looks absolutely gorgeous as you will see below. There is no bubbling, fades, runs, or major blemishes anywhere through out the paint. The chrome through out the 65 was also completely gone through and is also in excellent shape with no major pitting or scratches. It all shines out very nicely. All of the glass through out the car is also in excellent shape and is all original. There is no major pitting or scratches through out any of it. All of the weather stripping through out this 65 was also replaced and is in excellent shape. The doors open, shut, and seal up just like it rolled off the assembly line. The wheels on this 65 are a set of Indy 500's with Firehawk tires. They are in excellent shape and have over 90% of the life still left on them. The car sits on a set of Air Liftbag RR suspension and K & M HD valve springs which are also all new.

Interior: The interior as you will notice was a custom finish job. The seats are actually from an Infiniti (I believe the Q45) and they have been wrapped in a very high quality leather. They are absolutely the most comfortable seats I have probably ever sat in but being the fact that they were from an Infiniti and no expense was spared in redoing them, it doesn’t surprise me. All of the interior was completely redone from top to bottom with sound deadener and padding. It is all in excellent shape with no fades, no scratches, no tears, no seams coming out. Everything is in excellent shape. The center console was also custom built and displays just how detail oriented the craftsman was who constructed the entire interior.
