Complete and running classic Sears 250 cc “twingle” The aluminum has been polished including engine side covers, controls, wheel hubs and muffler tips. Handlebars are new and new rims have been laced up with new spokes. Tires and tubes are also new. Paint is original and in great shape for a 43 year old bike. Look at the photos and see some slight dings to the top of the tank and to the front fender. A few minor scratches here and there but nothing major. The tank badges are gone but available on ebay. Seat is in good condition with no rips. Lights work. Odometer indicates 2868 miles. This bike has a clean Ohio title. Parts are available from Motor West in Milwaukee, WI. Payment by Certified Check for immediate shipment, personal check if you are not in a hurry. Payment is required within 10 days of auction close. We can leave the bike in our warehouse for a reasonable time after payment if this is more convenient for your pick-up. We will work with your shipper for off-hour pick up if necessary. On Jan-25-12 at 14:31:28 PST, seller added the following information: We have had numerous questions about the "condition" of this bike. Since "condition" is mostly a matter of opinion, we have tried to let the photos do the talking. I will try to add some factural information here: The odometer indicates 2868 miles. In my opinion this is probably correct. The previous owner told me that he honed the cylinders and installed new pistons and rings. He put ten (10) miles on it prior to shipping it to me. The bike is still in "break-in" operation. The bike runs great. I rode it yesterday for about 5 miles and it is doing fine. Cranks on 2nd or 3rd kick cold and 1st kick hot. Lights work, high-low beam indicator works. Neutral indicator light works. Horn works. Brake light works. New gel-cell cycle battery with fuse and quick disconnects. What else can I say? A great little bike that you can crank up when it comes off the truck and ride for many happy miles!
