You are bidding on a 1964 Walter all wheel drive fire truck. This is a former LAFD ARFF vehicle. It was based at LAFD station 90 at Van Nuys, CA. airport. It has a 2500 gallon tank, with a 3" suction/intake line, four 2 1/2" outlets, reat and side sprayers, and an outside pump control panel on the driver side. Rear and side sprayers area controlled by air controls mounted in the cab. It is powered by an 866 cubic inch, 8 cyclinder Waukesha gas engine. It has an Allison automatic 6 speed transmission. This truck will drive anywhere, over anything. Top speed is 46 miles per hour. It still has the LAFD shop number on it (service record #). On the sides, rear, and top of the truck are multiple areas for hose. There is a hose bed on top at the rear. Vehicle has original "code 3" lights, air horn, and multiuple spot lamps, all in working order. The pump runs great and is guarenteed to work. Truck has PTO and can pump and roll. The truck was in a movie, that is why you will see "BIRMINGHAM FIRE DEPT" on the side. This truck has 14,000 orginal miles and runs like a champ.
