Description (revised)
Vehicle Description

This is a CJ750 motorcycle with OHV engine. You may have read the history on other bikes here on ebay but The CJ750 is the CHinese version of the BMW R72. I imported this bike for someone and when it arrived they didnt have the money to buy it. My loss is your Gain.

Bike is in Memphis TN. Runs great. there is some minor damage on the back of the side car from International shipping but simple to fix. see the pictures. I have not titled this bike as my plan was to sell it. I do have the certificate of origin as well as the statement it is made of original parts which is needed to get the title. it would be titled as 2005 not 1950.

It has the 30hp reliable OHV engine and reverse on the transmition. It also has the added gas tank bumpers and the reversed levers for the clutch and brake as can be seen in the pic. it includes the emergancy repair tool kit and side car cover. speedometer says 38Km on it.

bike is sold as is and where is. it is the buyers responsibility to pick it up with in 14 days of the closing of the auction. also a non refundable $500 deposit is required at closing of the auction. Please feel free to ask any questions.

History

cj__03-0125-03_2.jpg
Chang Jiang 750 on Parade (Picture shows how they were trained to change the tire while in motion with the bike tilited)

The Chang Jiang 750 is unique in all the world for having the longest production run of any vehicle, 68 years and still counting! From 1938 until today it has been in nearly constant production. First produced as the BMW R71 (1938-1941), then in Russia as the M72 (1942-1963), and lastly in China (1957-today) as the Chang Jiang 750 (as the models M1, M1M, and M1S). While the design has evolved slightly, especially as each country began their production run, it remains firmly 1930's/1940's technology, with some parts still interchangeable with an original R71.

The story of these bikes is as rich in history as the bikes themselves, and show that these bikes are built to last through the ages and to make history of their own.
