THIS IS A NICE OLD 1980 AMERICAN MOTORS JEEP THAT WAS OWNED SINCE NEW BY THE STATE OF FLORIDA, DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE. IT LOOKS LIKE IT WAS USED OFF ROAD OR BACK ROAD, IT HAS HEAVY SCREEN OVER THE WINDSHIELD, AND AROUND THE SIDE TO PROTECT THE DRIVER FROM BRUSH COMING IN AT HIM. IT HAS THE IRON DUKE 2.5 4 CYLINDER ENGINE, WITH A STICK SHIFT TRANNY AND 4 WHEEL DRIVE . THE TIRES ARE VERY GOOD, LOOKING NEARLY NEW. THERE ARE RUST AREAS , ESPECIALLY ON THE FRONT FENDERS, AND DENTS AROUND THE FRONT TOO. EVEN THOUGH THE BODY IS ROUGH , THE FRAME AND MOUNTS ARE VERY SOLID AND NOT RUSTY AT ALL, DEFINITELY VERY SOLID.THE ROOF PANEL AND BELOW THE WINDSHIELD HAVE RUST, SEE PICS. IT STARTS AND RUNS GREAT, SHIFTS GOOD, AND 4 X 4 WORKS TOO. I HAVE TAKEN IT DOWN THE ROAD AND BACK AND THE ENGINE RUNS GREAT, THE TRANS SHIFTS FINE, 4x4 WORKS RIGHT. IT WOULD BE A GREAT HUNTING OR WOODS VEHICLE, OR JUST A REAL NEAT OLD DRIVER. NOT MUCH LUXURY HERE, BUT IT'S TOUGH AS NAILS. IT SHOWS 3600 MILES ON THE CLOCK, BUT WHO KNOWS. I DO HAVE THE ORIGINAL PALE BLUE FLORIDA TITLE FROM NEW. I HAVE A RESERVE BUT IT'S VERY LOW. DON'T ASK. JUST BID AND YOU'LL PROBABLY GET IT.
