1970 Indian Velocette Venom Truxton with only 977 miles, one of 97 Indian Velocette ever built only 50% of these came with the 41 HP Venom Truxton engine. So I dare to say this is a very rare bird .I bought this about 15 years ago & started restoring it, sent the seat out for upholstery & never got it back, also when I first got it the piston was froze up from sitting, The Cylinder looks good & so does the rest of the engine, but I have misplaced the piston & a few other parts & pieces, so what you see is what you get. I have many other Projects going on so I decided to give this one a shoot here on Ebay This is a very rare opportunity to own something that will only appreciate in value Check out the pictures & my Feedback. I have several restoration projects going on & trying have room to keep everything inside this coming winter, so I'm giving it one shoot here on Ebay if it sells then I hope it will go to a good home, if not I will keep it. The Bike is Sold as is. & with a bill of Sale only.You are Welcome to come & check it out anytime. I like Harley Davidson. High Line cars, Choppers & Muscle Car.  Of the 97 built, about half had the 41 h.p. Venom Thruxton engine, compared to the stock 34 hp Venom engine. So perhaps the Indian Velo with the Thruxton version of the engine is one of the best 500 single sport bikes of the pre-Japanese era, and greatly under-rated (usually ignored) by motorcycle historians.

 Q: Is the motor mocked up for the pictures, you mentioned there wasn't a piston installed ? I assume you don't have the left sidecover, what else besides the seat is missing ? Thanks in advance
