This is for 1 control arm OE Number 8E0 407 694k which is a common failure point on the B5 Passat platform. We know these are not the cheapest versions available but there is a reason. The orginal design, even those supplied by the dealer, have several design flaws. This arm is part of a set that corrects the various problems and offers a stronger part over the original versions. THIS IS THE LOWER RIGHT FRONT OF THE FRONT of the car

Improvements include:

Larger ball joint diameter increasing load capacity on the joint by 50%

Bushings are reinforced from stock

Improved ball joint lubrication
