As you can see by my feedback I am a very honest seller.  Buying an ATV online can be scary.  You'll notice in a lot of auctions there is very little description and very few pictures.  In my auctions you get all the details, both good and bad.   In addition you are always welcome to come check this quad out and ride/inspect it for yourself before the auction ends to ensure your happiness.   However, if you are unable to do so I guarantee your happiness, with this:  If you win, get here and find that I have misrepresented it in any way you can walk away without paying a dime and with, no fear of bad feedback.

ATV:

This is a 2005 Polaris Sportsman 500 HO 4x4.  It is a liquid cooled, 4-stroke,  ATV with a fully automatic transmission.   The transmission has high and low range as well as reverse and Park (something very few ATVs have, and very handy in the back of your pickup).  It has four wheel independent suspension and on-demand 4 wheel drive meaning that when you need 4x4 you only have to flip a switch. When you don't need it you can turn it off and save gas as well as do your power slides (and believe me it will do them).  Additionally the engine braking of a Sportsman is very good.

The Polaris also has a speedometer with a digital display that shows hours, miles, trip-meter, 4x4 vs 4x2, and a tachometer.  In addition, it has a digital fuel gauge.  It can also be programmed to give you reminders when it is due for maintenance.  It also has a 12 volt accessory outlet for a spotlight, cell phone charger, etc.   Racks on both ends are standard, it has full floor boards instead of pegs and this is one of the most powerful ATVs in the 500 class.  In my opinion, this one of the nicest 4x4s available today. 

Condition:

This machine is in very good used condition.  It has only 831 original miles and 119 hours of use.  

The engine is perfect and fires immediately as soon as you turn the key.  

It revs perfectly and pulls hard with no misses, noises, leaks or smoke.  The power of the 500 HO motor is perfect for most people, still thrilling under full throttle and very fast, but not so much that it will get away from you like some of the huge 800+ cc monsters out there today. 

The brakes all function well and it rides and drives very nice.   

The wheels do have a few of the usual dings around the outer edges and the original tires still have lots of life left in them.  

The plastics look really good also.  It may have a few light scratches here and there, but nothing terribly serious.   There are no cracks on the fenders. 

Overall this is a good solid used machine.  It does not look brand new and does show signs of normal use, but it is very nice and in overall very good condition.     

A new one just like this would set you back around $8,000.    This one looks good, runs like new and is a chance to get all the features you want at a great price.

Details:

Overall this is a very nice ATV that will make someone very happy.  No games here, it will sell.  No reserve and no “buy it now”.   As for transaction details, I am located in Sadieville, Kentucky (40370).  We are right off Interstate 75, 25 miles North of Lexington KY and 60 South of Cincinnati, OH.   I am willing to ship it but you must make the arrangements.   Kentucky residents will be required to pay 6% state sales tax on top of the final bid amount.   We do not collect sales tax or any other fees from out of state bidders.

I don't need a deposit but if we ship, it must be paid in full first.   I will not sell it off eBay so there is no need to ask.  This machine comes with a clean title that is ready to transfer or export to Canada.
