I have to sell my 1968 pontiac pontiac firebird i bought the car when i was 20years old and got my first good paying job 22 years ago. when i bought it, the car was in excellent condition the whole car was completly rebuilt. the motor was had 1200 miles sice its rebuild at that time, since then i have put approxmitally 25000 mile on it. it burns a little oil. a year and a half ago i had the car repainted and went through a lot of the car. it has new carpet, many new crome accesories. the paint is a base coat clear coat. it really came out nice the dash panel was also painted at that time. the car is all original. i did put a cd player, headers and an eldelbrock carborator on it. the dash pad is also new. the front transmission seal leaks somewhat when the car sits got a price from a transmission shop to fix it its approx. 400 dollars the other day when i was getting the car ready to sell i put a small crack in the paint on the hood by closeing it on something just my luck at this time. the car needs a new convertable top because there is no rear window i never cared because i dont put the top up and its never been in the rain its always been garaged the top takes some time to put up it stops and starts again i was told its some sort of fuse. the stearing wheel is cracked . the valence panel is dented and needs paint there are no scratches or dents on any of the rest of the paint just that small crack on the hood i do have the paint for the car. I love this car and so many times i almost had to sell it but i managed to hold on. this time it is not possible. I lost my job and Im about to loose my hose i need to sell it the car needs to be finished but fo a few thousand dollrs the car will be mint.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              The features of this car include:  All original, numbers matching drivetrain with 400 cubic inch V8 engine a 400 automatic transmission , white convertible top, power steering drum brakes, original  radio.  but there is a cd player in it This car DOES NOT have Ram Air,  air conditioning or and power windows or seats it does have headers 15in ralley wheels edelbrock carborator and headers those are the only modifications that were made.  However, certain parts and features have been repaired or replaced over time to match the original factory spec .  The underside of the car is in good condition.  There are no areas of rust through the floor boards. the underside is in great shape its just undercoated black

This car gets a lot of attention where ever i go poeple just absolutly love the car.  I get compliments on it everywhere I go. the car really runs good and it is fast. the car really doesnt need much to be completly restored. expically since it was just redone the body is pretty much mint.the trunk is excellent shape the engine compartmet is really great shape it doesnt need much
