THIS IS YOUR CHANCE TO OWN A VERY RARE CAR, 1967 GRAND PRIX CONVERTIBLE WAS A ONE YEAR CAR, WITH ONLY 5856 BUILT.
THE CAR IS PICTURED ON THE ROLL BACK TRUCK, IT IS A RESTORATION PROJECT THAT WAS STARTED IN 2004, I BOUGHT THE CAR FROM THE SECOND OWNER WHO HAD BOUGHT THE CAR IN 1968, FROM A PONTIAC DEALER IN INDIANA, HE DROVE IT UNTIL 1970 WHEN THE NUMBER 3 CONNECTING ROD BROKE, ( HAVE OIL PAN OFF MOTOR NO BLOCK DAMAGE, YES THE 670 HEADS ARE STILL ON THE MOTOR AND ALL NUMBERS MATCH ON THIS CAR.) ODOMETER SHOWING 7000 MILES (ACTUALLY 107,000), HE THEN STORED THE CAR IN HIS FATHERS BARN AND PULLED IT OUT IN SEPT. 2004 AND STARTED THE RESTORATION, HOWEVER SOME HEALTH ISSUES FORCED THE SALE OF THE CAR, THATS WHEN I BOUGHT IT. THE CAR IS ALMOST ENTIRERLY APART, STILL A ROLLER. IT WAS ORIGINALLY WHITE WITH A BRIGHT RED INTERIOR AND BLACK CONVERTIBLE TOP. REAR SEATS ARE NEWLY DONE AS WELL AS MOST OF THE INTERIOR CHROME AND SPEEDOMETER REDONE MANY, MANY NEW PARTS AND RESTORED PARTS WITH CAR. IT IS CURRENTLY HOUSED IN A 24 FT. ENCLOSED U.S. CARGO TRAILER THAT IS INCLUDED IN THIS PACKAGE , SO YOU CAN KEEP IT OUT OF THE WEATHER UNTIL YOU ARE READY TO COMPLETE IT, FULL PHS DOCUMENTS ON THIS CAR , AND THREE PHOTO ALBUMS SHOWING THE TEAR DOWN AND RESTORATION THUS FAR, AND 5 BINDERS OF NOTES.
