THIS CARS PAINT IS ALL ORIGINAL WITH NO PAINT OR BODYWORK DONE EVER ..........RARE barn find - in excellent condition SURVIVOR CAR. 1956 Pontiac Chieftain 860 Special (Model 2719) with a 317 cid (316.6) V8, 2 speed Hydrostatic transmission, PS, PB, Dealer installed Air Cond. One of only 41,987 made. 8.75 rear end, 122 inch wheelbase. Tires are 1970's model Phillips 66 tires, G78-15. Orig rubber floor mats in car, NO tears or holes, very good cond. Has small tear in back of drivers seat along seam . Color (KR) is Nimbus Gray over Camellia Pink with Raven Black wheels. Starts and runs very good, would trust it to drive to either coast. this car had the radio delete ... This vehicle was stored in a barn on 4-1-1980 by the orig owner who was a New York City Rockette in the 1940's. There is one rust spot just above the left front bumper (see pic) and a very small dent on right rear quarter.....one of the backup lens is missing other wise body in great shape, rust stains on paint only.
