1976 Pontiac Trans Am

THIS IS TRULY A ONE - OF - A - KIND CAR !!!!!!!!! Although not checked, the HP is believed to be over 550 HP !!! This is a 1976 Pontiac Trans - AM that started life as a 400 cc car. Approximately five years ago, a neighbor of mine rebuilt the car and put a 455 cc engine form a 1967 Pontiac GTO in it. The 455 cc engine was bored out to a 462cc and rebuilt, before putting it in, with Keith Black parts - best of everything. It still has the cool "Shaker Hood". The interior of the car was redone and with the exception of the door pull straps in complete. Very nice. He painted the car at that time, also. The trans was rebuilt ( I understand it is an M22 rockcrusher ) and the rear was rebuilt. He put a set of body bars under the car because the tourque twists the body. Brakes are good, and mechanically the only thing it may need is the carb adjusted, it runs a little rich. I bought the car frm the neighbor three years ago when there was approx 2500 miles on the speedo. The car as only 11,088 miles since the rebuilt, I do no know how many miles are actually on the body - it is in excellent shape. This car is very nice and has won 2nd place in a car show. YOU WON'T FIND ONE LIKE THIS AGAIN !!. If you want a very fast muscle car at a good price, this is it. Car is 33 years old and is being sold as is, where is. That said, it was rebuilt 11,088 miles ago and is in great shape. The paint will probably need to be redone, cause the body twists and spyders the paint. Buyer must pick up the car in Cockeysville, Maryland. Deposit of $1500 must be may via paypal 24 hurs from end of auction. Balance paid within three days. CAr is for sale locally, and I will end this auction early if it sells locally. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
