You are bidding on a 1970-1/2 Pontiac Trans Am. It is a real Trans Am, documented by Pontiac Historic Services. It is Polar White with black deluxe interior. It is an automatic car with Ram Air III engine and 3.55 (ratio), 12 bolt posi.

The car has a Service Replacement (SR) block in it with #12 heads. It has a remanufactured Quadrajet carburetor and HEI ignition. Starts & runs good, as it has a complete professional overhaul completed on 8-12-09 with 200 miles on engine. Replaced with new were pistons-rings-rodbearings-main bearings-cam bearings,camshaft-lifters-timing chain-and gears-oil pump-core and galley plugs-gaskets & seals-dip stick & tube-rocker arm studs and nuts. Bore and hone block,resize rods-polish crankshaft-grind valves and seats-balance assembly -assemble partial engine.Engine was bored .30 over which produces 345 hp. New fuel pump, new plugs & wires,remanufactured starter, new oil pressure switch. New radiator hoses. The battery is new.

The transmission is a TH400 automatic. It shifts firmly and works well.

The rearend is the original, COX-coded, 12 bolt 3.55 posi.

The body is quite solid overall. It has nice floors and frame rails, just one small area on driver's front floor that has a patch on it, approximately a 4" x 4" area. The trunk is solid with new weatherstip. The paint is shiny and decals look very good. The outer, chrome, door handles are new.

The interior is in excellent, overall condition. Seat covers, sill plates, carpet and rear package tray were all replaced. There are no cracks in dash. Headliner & door panels are in very good condition - see pictures.The radio is missing.

The master cylinder has been replaced. Tires are like new. Center caps are brand new, wheels were recently balanced. Car drives smooth going down the road.

Payment: The car must be paid in full before it leaves. No personal checks. There is a $1,000 deposit due within 48 hours of auction end. Balance to be paid for by bank wire transfer. Being that this is a 39 year old car, it is being sold as is with no warranty. Ask all questions before bidding. I reserve the right to end the auction early, as it is for sale locally.
