If you are fed up with gas cans that don't poor efficiently that wants something that actually works, this product can't be beat! I have bought a couple originally to replace the plastic caps that have broken off older gas cans. They installed effortlessly, and when I purchased some new gas cans recently for fuel storage, I immediately ordered another set for them. They do what they are supposed to do, and seal it tight! No more gas fumes from cans that can't be sealed. I have gotten to the point of using a siphon hose to get fuel out of cans and into the boat, but since finding these, I am back to having an option of pouring gas from the cans again. While it is great to have a can that actual vents properly, the safety of having one that seals tight cannot be overstated!

Well made but overpriced. Recommend because it is sturdier than the plastic ones. Problem is that I tried 3 different new quality spade drill bits on a piece of test plastic similar to a gas can. Drilled nice clean round 1/2 inch holes with all 3 bits and they measure exactly. Popped in the vent and it fit so loose there is no way it would make a seal. Gas would leak no doubt. Says you may have to buy a tube of expensive sealant to plug the leak. Really? If sealant is required they should include it with the vent. If a special drill bit is required, include it also. Not impressed.

These Pops-A-Vent are very easy to install. They work like a dream. If you install these like the directions show you to, you will have no problem. I purchased one, just to see how it worked. I works like a dream and I ordered 4 more. You won't be disappointed in purchasing this vent. I'm glad I did. I highly recommend these!!!!

I purchased this unit for a vent for an aluminum water bottle that has a screw on plastic handle/lid that are very popular know. The bottle had a smaller screw off drink hole in the top of the big lid. When you drank from it, it gurggled and did not flow due to lack of air. It needs a air gap behind it, just like plumbing in a house. This unit was perfect to add to my bottle. I simply drilled a hole and pushed it into the the top and know I can have air in the bottle and drink freely. Awesome addition. I wish the manufacturer would add this units to their lid! Highly recommend!!

Bought one to try out. I have 11 cans and the person that invented Gluck Gluck cans should be hung. I have whined about them from day one. These guys have changed my life. I couldn’t- try asi might- push them in by hand as suggested. Rubbed som e6000 glue around the edges as a binder and lube and smacked them with a large mallet. Took a bit of practice but they went in. And do not leak. Great invention. I wished I had thought of it.
