You are bidding on a classic completely restored 1972 911T Porsche! This is a special car that has been stored in a garage and maintained by a responsible car collector. There are only 3,414 actual miles reading on the odometer since the car's restoration and rebuild in 2004. There were approximately 75,000 miles on the car prior to restoration. Black on black, both inside and out, and rebuilt, this vehicle will provide many miles of service and the pride of ownership to that special person who appreciates a unique automobile of this caliber. The tires are new German Continental tires with approximately 500 miles on them. There is no visible rust any where you would not expect it, especially on painted surfaces. There are no areas that leak on this car. There has been no other body work or other mechanical repairs other than routine maintenance, and this vehicle has never been involved in an accident. The original transmission was removed and inspected during the re-build. There is nothing wrong with the transmission. This car looks better than my pictures.

This Porsche is all original, except for a 1983 dashboard and air conditioner, which alone cost  $5,000. The '83 dash was installed to accomodate the air conditioner upgrade because this model was not originally equipped with air conditioning. The car is in excellent condition, except for a small ding the size of a dime near the middle of the passenger door. There is also a small scratch on the passenger door that can be buffed out.

The car was purchased in 2004 by the present owner after complete restoration that included new carpet, new leather front seats, new dashboard, new air conditioner, new power windows, and new 2.4 liter engine. All restoration work was performed by Helmuth Mey, a German mechanic and owner of Mey's Foreign Car Repair in Tyler, Texas.
