This is the famous Krikit 1 belt tension measurement tool -- the economical alternative to the (infamous?) P9201 special tool that is officially recommended in the 924/944/951 Porsche Factory Service Manuals for this important job -- and costs upward of $US500!

Get this tool as a much more affordable and practical alternative for the owner maintenance belt job. This can be used to measure timing (or cam) belt tension, balance belt tension, and alternator belt tension.

Please note, the only instructions included are the generic OEM instruction for use on V-belts, which is the manufacturer's intended use of this tool. You will need to read up on the details of how Porsche owners specifically use this tool for their needs -- many write-ups and discussions available on-line in various user forums, etc. I am assuming you have done your research to determine the suitability of this tool for your intended use before purchase.
