Hello, up for auction is a freshly powder coated valve cover from a JDM B16a vtec engine that will fit civics, etc, but please check with your own before bidding. The valve cover will be powder coated a color of your choice that i stock. Other colors can be ordered for a small fee. Please remember this is a SERVICE with core exchange option. Powder coatings are much more abrasion resistant, UV resistant, and chemical resistant than most liquid applied paints depending on formulation. Why buy from TRG Coating? We have years of experience and do all we can to please the customer. We believe in the best and use only the best materials and process. All products powder coated by TRG are hot tanked to remove thick built up grease normally found in valve covers. This is important as it removes residue that causes blasting media to get stuck in baffles which will eventually wear down your engine. Next the original finish is stripped by media blasting using a angular grit to ensure good mechanical adhesion. Bead blasting is not a proper method to produce good mechanical adhesion because its a spherical grit and does not "etch" the part. The part is than cleaned with dry air to remove excess grit and finally pretreated with a phosphate or chromate to chemically etch the substrate and provide the best adhesion availible on the market today. The part is than coated to the current condition free of pock marks and outgas marks. We guarentee no outgas marks in your finish at all, which is something many can not provide. All of our powders, whether epoxy or poly, hybrid or TGIC, are not surplus and are grade A powders. I hide nothing about my process and welcome you all to ask questions. I will not lie to you and make powder coating seem like a indestructable finish, because it is not. It is however, far superior to liquid paints in nearly all areas from looks to durability. The core charge system works like this: You pay an ADDITIONAL $60 to the item total plus shipping. I than powder coat a valve cover that i have in stock and ship it to you. You install it and send me your stock valve cover back. I than refund that extra $60 core charge you had payed. You may also send me your valve cover to do the work on, and avoid paying the core charge. I am NOT afraid to leave negative feedback for people who can't follow these rules, even if it means receiving negative feedback back for no reason. PLEASE do NOT bid if you can not abide by these rules.

If you would like a clear top coat applied, this will be an additional $20. The clear coat brings out a even glossier finish, helps protect, and is HIGHLY recommended. Clear coat MUST be purchased with Chrome, Bronze metallic, Silver metallic, and Charcoal metallic, Black chrome finishes. Also, if you'd like a candy translucent color, it will be an addional $20 because it is a 2 stage powder coating process (candy colors don't require a clear coat, but start with a chrome/metallic silver basecoat followed by the candy color which acts like a clear coat). The high bidder also gets the choice of having the tops of the lettering sanded to expose bare metal and give it a contrast in color FREE of charge.

The winning bidder will pay $20.00 shipping and in state residents of New Jersey must pay 7% sales tax on their orders. There will also be a additional core charge of $60.00 added to the final selling price (unless you send me yours to do the work on. Please notify me about this asap so proper invoice can be sent) which is FULLY refundable upon receipt of your old core back. The core must be free from ANY cracks, relativly deep gashes or scratches, broken spark plug cover holes, broken tabs, broken oil baffles etc. If you are unsure if your core is usable or not, PLEASE EMAIL ME AND ASK FIRST. All cores MUST be returned within 2 weeks of delivary. If not a $10 a week fee will apply, and if not returned within 30 days, full $60 will be forfeited. I hate to do this, but people are not sending there cores back in a timely fashion or not sending them back at all. Due to heavy work loads at times, coating could take 3-10 BUSINESS days to ship from the tiem of payment, in most cases it will be only 3-4 days, but in certain instances it may take longer. Also, full payment MUST be received within 7 days of auction end or fraud complaint will be filed, negative feedback will be left and item relisted.
