It is recommended that you change the oil in your Honda Ruckus scooter several times after the first few rides, whether you bought it new or used. Take a 20-30 min ride then change the oil, you will not believe the shiny metallic slurry that comes out!

After the initial oil changes, 500 mile oil change intervals are recommended.
