Rebuilt 62 1962 Borg Warner T-10 4 Speed Transmission

This auction is for one freshly rebuilt correctly dated all aluminum 62 1962 GM Borg Warner four speed Close Ratio transmission for Corvette, full size Chevy, Chevrolet 409 cars, Pontiac, Buick or Oldsmobile. It will also fit in almost any truck, hot rod, street rod, race car or other vehicle needing a 4 speed transmission. It is equipped with a correct coarse 10 spline input with 1 ring, (groove), on it. It has a 2.20:1 1st gear and a 1.0:1.0 4th gear. It has the correct, not twisted, 16 spline coarse output shaft. It has all new bearings, seals, gaskets and syncronizers and the other parts used were in very good shape. We are in the process of rebuilding some of the original transmissions we have had in stock for over 20 years and when these are gone, we will not have any more to sell.

The side cover is dated 5 15 62. The main case is dated E 23 62 with part number 3782212 and a WF 1222 code stamp. The tail shaft housing is dated 5-22-62 with casting number 3813490 and has the single transmission mount boss.
