This is a Rectifier Regulator aka Reg/Rec for a ; Kawasaki KZ1000B / KZ 1000B / KZ 1000 B / 1000LTD / 1000 LTD 1980 KZ1000E / KZ 1000E / KZ 1000 E / KZ1000ST / KZ 1000ST / KZ 1000 ST 1979-1980 KZ650 All 1981 Models SH230-12 Please take a good look at the pics!!! Please note that all used motorcycle parts are sold used and as is. It was removed from a crashed motorcycle and therefore it is likely to be a working part. It has been stored indoors since it was removed. It is good shape and in guaranteed working order. We guarantee it good, exchange only, for 6 months after you receive it. The Regulator Rectifier is the part that turns the 40-60 Volts AC that is created by your generator and rectifies it to the DC current used by the bikes electrical system. The Regulator portion makes sure that enough current is being sent to the electro magnet to generate a constant voltage between 12.5 and 14.5 Volts DC.
