I am selling my reproduction 1925 Ford T-Bucket roadster pick-up hot rod. I didn't want a 'rat rod' look, but not a 'trailer queen' either. So I made a bench seat and covered it with the appropriate Mexican blanket and retained the primer black painted finish. The rear suspension utilizes a buggy spring with split wishbone and panard bar. Juice brakes are now drums in the rear and discs in front. The big and little tires along with the lowered front give the car that 'cool' rake. This is a unique old school style street rod made with a custom frame and fiberglass body and full fenders. There are vintage style Stewart Werner gauges set into a engine turned dash panel. A classic style Bell steering wheel set on a tilt column with working turn signals. New wiring harness, fuse block and a new battery are mounted under the seat. The drive train consists of an early 70's Chevy 350 cubic inch engine with hugger headers and a Turbo 350 3-speed automatic transmission. It has an early 70's 8 inch Ford rear axle with modified radius rods with panhard bar. It has a pair of multi-leaf quarter eliptical springs that locates a drop axle front suspension with hairpin radius rods. This hot rod has a flat black paint theme with silver and chrome accent colors for the engine, wheels, and axles. The suspension is complete, but shocks need to be installed. I have run it about 1500 miles after finishing the upgrade. It sounds fantastic and has no problems that I can see. Cylinder compression runs from 120-130 psi. Oil pressure is 40 psi at cold idle. Block casting number is 3970010 and stamped vin # is D108TWZ. It has 4 bolt main, double hump heads (casting number 3991492), roller rockers, mild cam. Edelbrock intake manifold with rebuilt 750CFM Holley carb, Hooker hugger headers, Accel distributor with Pertronix electronic flame thrower spark, and new plug wires. Sells complete with good engine with new starter, new drive shaft, and everything you see in the photos (except trailer - available for an additional $700). It uses a Chevy 350 turbo tranny that is date coded 1979 and has Gennie shifter on it with ignition safety. Juice brakes are new drums in the rear and discs in front. I have decided to sell this car now because I am buying a house and need to remodel. If you have any questions, please call me at 540-998-1591 and leave a message if I do not answer. The winning bidder must pay a non-refundable $500 deposit via Paypal within 48 hours of the auction end or I will offer it to the second highest bidder. The balance of the winning bid is due within 7 days. The buyer is responsible for any shipping arrangements and associated fees. The trailer shown in the photos is included along with the Arizona title & registration. The car is sold AS IS without any or implied warranty. The car will only be released to the buyer and/or shipping company after payment clears my bank account. The car is titled, registered, and insured in Tucson, AZ.
