As can be seen in the picture, the body of the rocker has an extended ear to keep the rocker from moving past the roller tip. This is essential on heads that require self aligning rockers. This is a true roller rocker. Please read the complete add.

Never run a non self aligning rocker on a head that requires then to be self aligning.

Important note,
We have noticed that some of the roller rockers may have very light surface rust on the rocker body. This light rust is hardly noticable. This is harmless to their performance, and can be easily removed if you prefer. The rockers had been in storage for some time, and simple condensation will cause this. The rollers and needle bearings are not affected as they are oiled from the factory. These rockers are made from a very strong material, that will last many for many years to come. Please don't think we are going to send you box of rusty rockers, these are not that way. You have to really make close observation to notice this very light rust, and it's only on a few of the rockers, and we promise this to be harmless to their operation.
THESE ARE CONSIDERED VERY HIGH-TECH IN DESIGN. THOSE THAT KNOW ROLLER ROCKERS KNOW THESE ARE THE TOP OF THE LINE. THEY HAVE A VERY LARGE TRUNION BEARING.
CHROMOLY ROLLER ROCKERS ARE SUPERIOR TO ALUMINUM ROLLER ROCKERS IN THE EVERY WAY. THEY ALLOW FOR LARGER DIAMETER SPRINGS, AND HAVE AN OVERALL HIGHER LOAD CAPACITY. EXCELLENT FOR THOSE RUNNING SOLID ROLLER SETUPS OR USING THEM FOR EXTENDED DRIVING, AS CHROMOLY DOES NOT HAVE A FATIGUE FACTOR AND ALUMINUM DOES. THESE CAN HANDLE UP TO 750LBS OF SPRING PRESSURE, AS WELL AS ENGINES TURNING UPWARDS OF 8000 RPM. ANOTHER BENEFIT TO STAINLESS STEEL ROLLER ROCKERS IS THAT THEY OFFER MUCH MORE CLEARANCE FROM SIDE TO SIDE, AS WELL AS ACCOMMODATING LARGER SPRINGS. THESE ARE LIGHTER WEIGHT ON THE ROLLER TIP AREA THAN ALUMINUM, AND THAT'S WHERE THE WEIGHT COUNTS.

IF THE FACTORY EVER DECIDED TO RUN FULL ROLLER ROCKERS ON AN ENGINE, YOU CAN BET IT WOULD BE CHROMOLY STEEL.
THE MANUFACTURE HAS RECOMMENDED THAT THESE SHOULD BE CLEANED IN A PARTS WASHER BEFORE USE. THIS IS GOOD PRACTICE FOR ANY ROLLER ROCKERS, BUT ANY AMOUNT OF CHROMOLY DUST LEFT OVER FROM THE MACHINING PROCESS WOULD BE MORE HARMFUL THAN ALUMINUM DUST. WE CLEAN ANY AND ALL PARTS BEFORE THEY GO INTO AN ENGINE. IF YOU COULD SEE HOW MUCH METALLIC SILT COMES OFF NEW INTERNAL ENGINE PARTS, YOU WOULD QUICKLY UNDERSTAND.
