| CUSTOM STYLE MULTI FIT SPOILER |
Our Custom Multi Fit spoilers are designed to fit several different vehicles.
Originally designed as a 'Factory Style' spoiler for a different vehicle our team of expert installers have determined that the spoiler will look great and mount on vehicles other than originally designed for. As this is a universal type fit it may not mount in exactly the same place as a factory spoiler and it might not seat down exactly the same. The spoilers have been fully tested on the listed vehicles and we are confident that you will be pleased with it.
Please note that we have had cases in the past where an installer has refused to mount one of these spoilers because we do not provide step by step detailed instructions specific to the vehicle. If you have difficulty with your installer please have them call us or just find a more competent installer. These spoilers include instructions that are designed for the do it yourself installer and they are very easy to install. (Most installers working for car dealerships will only install products they have sold - call around) |

| Frequently Asked Questions |
| Can I install the spoiler myself? |
Yes. We include a deluxe installation kit and step by step instruction sheets.
Professional installers tend to want to install what they have sold - if you have troubles with your installer have them call us so that we can explain how easy it is to install our spoilers!
Factory Style spoilers include a template. Custom style spoilers include locator tabs. |
| How do I use the locator tabs included in the hardware kit that came with my spoiler? |
The Locator Tabs are the white paper strips that are 8 inches long (they might be attached to each other).
-
Flip the spoiler over so that the feet (posts) of the spoiler are in the air.
-
Take the locator tabs and remove the adhesive backing from the center and punch out the hole in the middle.
-
Match up the holes from the locator tabs with the screw holes on the spoiler and stick the locator tabs around the screw holes of the spoiler horizontally.
-
Flip the spoiler over and position it on the trunk where you would like it.
-
Tape the locator tabs onto the trunk.
-
Remove the spoiler from the trunk.
-
The locator tabs will be taped onto the trunk showing you where to drill the holes.

| How long does it take to install a spoiler? |
It depends on which spoiler you are installing. A non-lighted spoiler can take as little as 15 minutes, whereas a lighted spoiler can take up to one hour. |
| What tools will I need? |
The only power tool that you will need is a drill. You should also have something similar to a drop cloth to lay in the trunk. You will need a measuring tape, a punch or its equivalent (screwdriver) and masking tape. We have custom hardware in our installation kits. |
| I want to take my previously installed factory spoiler off and put on a different spoiler. Can I get a spoiler that matches the existing holes in my trunk lid? |
It can be next to impossible to find an aftermarket spoiler with holes to match. If you need to replace your original Factory spoiler and match the factory holes in your trunk lid, we recommend that you purchase your spoiler from the Factory Dealership. Most Aftermarket style spoilers are replicas made from a factory mold, but the holes will not be in the exact same spot. It's not critical if you never had a spoiler on there to begin with. However, trying to match holes is very difficult. If you want to replace your factory spoiler with a different type of spoiler, we recommend that you have your body shop fill the old holes first. |
TIP |
| Some trunk lids have an extra layer of sheet metal underneath. In this case, you will need to drill a wider hole underneath in that extra layer first. This will give you room to get your bolt driver in to tighten the bolts to the trunk lid. If you use a metal hole saw bit, it will leave a clean hole. If you want to cover it afterwards, you can use a plastic cap or a felt circle. (This technique is the same for some custom spoiler installations that have holes that align differently from a factory spoiler). |
