I have owned the boat since 1998 and have always taken very good care of it, I have done many upgrades as you can see by the above information. The boat has always been stored in a controlled climate during the winter months. My reason for selling is my career has limited my ability to enjoy this beauty and therefore I am offering the boat to a new home to someone who can truly enjoy it. The boat has never failed us in the past 11 years that I have owned it. The Stratos will truly Blow you away, it has the ability to produce a top speed of 72 MPH if this doesn't excite you I don't know what will.
Granted the boat is an exceptional boat for the year that it is, there are a few things I will mention, voltage guage is not reading correctly, I replaced the fuel tank floats in 1999 after doing this I noticed the fuel guage would only read half of what they really should, this is due to the float resistance, dashboard speedometer is not working a section of the line needs replaced, I obtain my speeds through the Bottom Line Graph, one windshield corner is cracked (driver side). There is a crack in the fiberglass housing of the motor shroud pic included, the motor is a Mercury BlackMax 200 hp (1983) this motor runs very strong and healthy, the decal on the motor states 150 but it is documented as a 200hp on the motor's title, several years ago tournament guidelines restricted the use of high powered motors, so the anglers way around this way to change decals to make it appear as though they were running 150hp. This motor runs to strong/fast to be a 150hp and as I stated the title documents this as well. Trailer has some areas of rust but not bad, overall condition is very good. There are 2 things that need to be done on the trailer, spare tire should be replaced, both brake calipers should be replaced, I have towed this boat with no issues.
THIS BOAT IS READY TO FISH A TOURNAMENT TOMORROW!
The overall condtion of the whole boat is excellent there are a few knicks and scratches, but as you can see from the pics it does not affect the overall beauty of this boat. I have mentioned all the good and all the items needing attention rest assured the items needing attention do not affect the performance of the boat.
