If we have the Owner's Manuals, additional sets of keys, remote control key fobs, floor mats or any other accessories that might have been available for this vehicle, we will be happy to pass them along to the winning bidder. If we do not have those additional items or accessories for this vehicle, we simply will not provide them to the winning bidder. Simply put, if we have "it", you will get "it". Vehicle VIN decoding software has made a world of difference to the automotive world but it isn't an exact science and it only applies to vehicles when they were new. There is no software or human capable of knowing every last standard and optional piece of equipment on every vehicle made. Cash (in person), Certified Check, Bank to Bank Wire Transfers, or 3rd Party Financing are accepted.  Please let us know prior to delivery or pick up of the vehicle as to which method you are planning to pay in full for the vehicle with. If your final payment is made with a 3rd Party Finance Site Draft or any other 3rd Party Finance Payment Instrument, please keep in mind that it may delay final delivery of the vehicle to you. If you are going to pay in full by using a bank or lending source that you set up and established for final payment to us, we need to verify that the site draft or loan check is valid before releasing the vehicle or title. All funds must be in U.S. Dollars only. Please make sure to have payment in full and/or approved financing in place before making your final bid or purchase.

Just let us know if you want us to obtain the best financing rates that are available. We work with over 15 different lenders and lending institutions to provide you with several different payment options. All you need to do is fill out the attached secured online credit application and we can usually have you approved within 2 to 24 hours after we receive your application.

Winning bidder must contact us within 24 hours of auction end and make arrangements for payment at that time. A $500.00 deposit is due within 24 hours of auction end. Paypal is preferred for the deposit or you may contact the dealership to make other arrangements. Per Illinois State Law, all Sunday business will be handled the following Monday. Elmhurst Toyota Scion does reserve the right to increase the deposit amount if the vehicle does warrant such an increase. If no contact is made by the winning bidder within 24 hours of auction end we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next highest bidder, or sell it otherwise. Payment in full is subject to verification and/or having cleared our Bank before title and vehicle is released.

Please make sure that if you are planning to finance this vehicle with your finance institution that they accept the age and mileage of this vehicle before bidding. As a rule of thumb, most banks and credit unions do not offer financing on vehicles that are older than 10 years or vehicles that have more than 100,000 miles. Please have your loan arranged before bidding or have us obtain financing for you with our sources before bidding.

FOR ALL INTERNATIONAL BUYERS ...

Payment by Bank to Bank Wire Transfer is probably the easiest way to pay for your purchase and is required if the title to this vehicle is to be released at the time of delivery. If payment is other than Bank to Bank Wire Transfer, the title and vehicle will not be released until payment in full has been verified to clear our bank.

Buyer is responsible for fees and taxes required by their state or country of residence. We are also required to collect sales tax from you if you live in Arizona, Florida, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, and South Carolina. If you do not live in one of these states listed or live outside the U.S.A., we do not collect or charge sales tax, however, you may be responsible for paying additional taxes/fees at time of registration in your home state. If you do live in or register the vehicle that you purchase from us in any of those listed states, we will have to charge you the correct sales tax amount with the vehicle that you purchase from us.

There is a $151.65 Documentary Fee added to every vehicle purchase.

License Tag and Title Fees are not included with the purchase. If you are a Illinois Bidder the cost of New Plates and Title are $144.00. If you have valid plates to transfer, the cost is $81.00. All Illinois transactions have a additional $25.00 Electronic Secretary of State Filing Fee. If you are a Out of State bidder, there is a $10.00 "7 Day Drive Away" permit fee and you are responsible for paying the registration and title fees for your State and County.

Returns are allowed in the event the vehicle is shipped and you are disastisfied. However, a 10% restocking fee applies and the return must take place within 7 days from receipt and the vehicle must have fewer than 200 miles difference upon return. Return shipping fees are the obligation of the buyer.
