This auction is for a set of 10 Alcoa aluminum wheels off a semi tractor. The wheels are in good condition.

They will polish up very nicely and are not all pitted.

The tires on the wheels are size 285/75R24.5. The condition of the tires is as follows:

2 front steer tires: Very good - they are not very old and have good tread
3 rear tires:            Good. They still have decent tread
2 rear tires:            They are decent tires but the tread looks like they have been driven in gravel
2 rear tires:            These hold air, but hardly any tread at all - very poor
1 rear tire:              Flat with a gash in the sidewall - Junk!

Each tire and wheel weighs 185 pounds. I can ship them to you whatever way is the cheapest. I can't stack all ten tires on the same pallet! But I can stack five of them on two different pallets.

If you only want the wheels, I can have the local tire shop remove the tires so it might be cheaper to have them shipped. You have to pay the cost to have them removed but I will haul them there and back for free.

I can not include a shipping calculator as it will not allow me to have a shipment with more than one pallet - so email me if you want a shipping quote.

FREIGHT SHIPPING
If you need this item you have bought from me shipped, I can palletize it and drop it off at any of the shipping companies located in Columbia, Missouri for an additional $25.00 per pallet. I will be glad to provide you with a shipping quote. Send me an email with your address and also let me know if it is a business with a forklift and a dock. If it is not a business with a forklift and a dock, you must let me know so that the trucking company can deliver it with a trailer that has a liftgate so that they can unload it. This costs extra! If the address is not a business, it is usually a whole lot cheaper to have it left at your local depot, and you pick it up there. As with all things in this short life we all live, it does not pay to lie! When the shipping company arrives and it is obviously not a business, and there is obviously not a forklift or a dock anywhere to be found, they will either refuse to unload it, or they will unload it and then send you a nice fat fine for not being honest! If you are up front and honest and let me know the type of location you need it delivered to, I will do everything I can to get you the cheapest quote. This benefits both of us. Folks will tend to bid higher on an item if the shipping is cheaper, and you don't get fined when the driver shows up!

When the auction ends and you let me know you want it shipped on a pallet, I will send you an invoice that has the purchase price and the shipping fee on it. You are welcome to arrange the shipping yourself if you prefer. But the $25.00 crating fee still applies and I still prefer to drop it off at a local shipper instead of having a freight company come pick it up. I live in a rural area and shippers will never tell me a time they are coming to pick something up. I have a good relationship with all the local drivers, as they are in here all the time, but I can't wait around all day for them to show up, so I prefer to drop it off at the depot rather than twiddle my thumbs waiting for them to appear out of the mists! If you arrange the shipping, you need to specify that they call before they come pick something up to verify that someone is here to load them.

PAYMENT AND AUCTION REQUIREMENTS
Do not ask me to sell it early, or take less than the starting price. I will not end the auction for a local sale either. I can load it onto anything that you send to pick it up. Delivery for an additional fee is a possibility within 250 miles of Fulton, Mo, 65251. E-mail me for a quote. I have a neighbor kid that helps me on the farm that will deliver stuff sometimes. I require payment in full within one week of auctions end. Once it is paid for, there is no hurry for you to pick it up - take six months if need be! If you don't come get it after six months have passed since the end of the auction, it will be resold, and my wife gets the proceeds. If you have a legitimate reason why you need to wait longer than six months to pick up your purchase, contact me and we will work something out. LOCAL PICK UP
I am a cattle farmer here in Mid-Missouri, so I am flexible about when you want to come and get items you have purchased from me, but I try and keep a schedule for my families benefit. I ask that you come between 9:00 in the morning and 4:00 at night. I am not available on Sundays whatsoever - that is God and family day, so don't ask! Just because I am a farmer does not mean that I am here everyday, I travel around to auctions and surplus sales and am gone several times a week. So don't do like some folks have in the past and drive 800 miles to get here and find out I am gone. You must contact me before you just show up! My granny always said that showing up unannounced was rude - you have to give people notice so they can get presentable.
