ABOUT FACTORY FIVE:
years have passed since we launched our first roadster kit. Back in 1995, kit cars were at opposite ends of the spectrum. There were well-built replicas that were laughably expensive on one end, and there were poorly built, cheap “kit cars” at the other end. This is still true today, except for a replica kit made by a small group of wing-nuts at a company called Factory Five Racing.
Today, more people build Factory Five Racing roadster replicas than all others combined! At the heart of this revolution are some simple concepts: a better product at a better price… sold by a committed group of professionals who love what they do.
The design had humble beginnings in a small shop in Massachusetts in 1995. Since then, the Factory Five Roadster has literally taken over the replica industry. Our cars have won more car show awards, battled for more racing wins, received more accolades and recognition from the press, and most importantly, garnered the most loyal customer group of any replica ever.
There are many reasons why the Factory Five Mark 3 (Mk3) Roadster is the best selling vintage replica kit in the world. Our products are flat out better. Better engineered, better built, better supported, and more authentic. We also make it easy to understand what you get with each kit and what you need. Last but not least is the amazing Factory Five community. Factory Five Owners are by far the most friendly, helpful and numerous in the replica world!
Perhaps the biggest reason we are so dominant is that for more than 12 years, we have consistently delivered on the promise that these cars hold. The result of your decision to go with Factory Five will be that the kit you get will be easier to build than you thought, better engineered than you knew, and will drive and perform better than you could ever dream.
