Look at what a new shelby cost 40 years ago then look at what they are valued at today. If you want a sound investment wait 15 years and your return will be better, and more secure than typical investment strategies.
I bought this car brand new as an investment. I have every piece of documentation on the car (documentation sells cars) since I purchased it. To give you an idea on how the car has been cared for Shelby has an aluminum name plate on all the floor mats. I have put plastic floor mats over the originals so the name plates do not get scratched. This car is pristine in everyway possible. It has a 2007 Mustang GT wing (because Shelby should have put one on it) that I have all the receipts from my Ford dealer. I put Nitto NT555 P255 45ZR 18 Ultra High Performance tires on the front, and Nitto P285 40ZR 18 Drag Radials on the back (because Shelby should have put on a better tire from the factory) with less than 500 miles on them.
The car is in storage and has never sat for long periods in the sun, never seen rain, snow etc...It gets driven occasionally to cruise in's and the movie theatre. No one but myself has ever driven the car. It is car #727 out of approximately 2,566 black with silver stripes manual cars built. This car is exactly like car # 1 that brought over $600,000.00 through the Barrett Jackson auction. I am selling do to other short term investment opportunities and I cannot afford to do both!
