Build this heavy duty Shop Crane for lifting and transporting with these plans. Many uses besides just pulling out car, truck and tractor engines! Designed for lifting engines, machinery, large weldments, oversized lathe chucks, steel plate/beams, and other heavy components. Great project for any shop that deals with heavy items for moving, repair, maintenance or assembly.

Features:  All steel construction. 8 ton long ram hydraulic jack. Four position boom extension. Three position hydraulic rod-end location - increase/decrease the max/min boom height and weight capacities of this crane. Adjustable front and rear legs for greater stability. Jack handle holder keeps pump handle nearby. Solid cast steel casters (swivel or rigid, your choice during construction) allow easy maneuvering around the shop.

Size:  66in. long by 30in. wide by 58in. high (with boom down and leg extensions retracted).
Boom height: 9in.(min) to 120in.(max) - not including chain/hook.
Boom Length: 54in.(min) to 84in.(max).
Base Length: 66in.(min) to 93in.(max).
Base Width: 30in.(min) to 37in.(max)
