This 914 is a retired Showcar.  It was used by the previous owner to promote his Car Customizing business.  He stated he owned the car for nearly 30 years.  I have the original clear Utah Title in hand that the owner provided to me.  It had been thru two complete customization during his ownership.  I purchased the car for my son's graduation.  He decided he would rather have a late model BMW with modern comforts.  So here it is.  I have driven the car for less than 10 miles since aquiring the car.  It starts right-up has good power and brakes as it should.  It is virtually rust-free in all the critical spots.  Hellhole is solid.  Longitudnals are solid.  Doors open and close properly with no sage at all.  It has a small amount of paint bubbles in door jambs at threshold.  This is cosmetic only.  It has a spot about as big as your hand of rust on the drivers' side fender at the windshield.  Pictured.  This is all worth mentioning.  The car is solid as a rock.  The paint job is fantastic but is starting to show its age with some minor scratches and tiny blistering in few places.  It needs the engine cover hinge re-welded on pasenger side.  It has broke loose at firewall.  Common 914 thing and easy fix.  Drive, show as is, or repair fender and do some touch-up to restore it to its glory.  Things I've noticed:  needs door handle repair on both sides and the wipers do not work.  The transmission grinds slightly in 2nd gear but not every time.  All lights are in good order and seems to be pretty sorted other than items mention.  It is amazingly Gorgeous and will get looks, stares, and compliments when ever it is driven or showed.  Ask any questions.  I will provide all the previous owner information with phone number once the car is paid in full.  Don't miss a great opprotunity to own a Classic Customised Slantnose 914 Showcar.  Bid Often and With Confidence!!!
