Hi, my gas tank had pin hole and seam leaks from sitting with petrol in it for over 8 years, the graveyard was calling. Did some internet research and found dozens of tank sealers. Decided on POR-15, their video was very informative and the feedback was excellent .... sold me. After cleaning the inside of the tank, poured the entire can of POR-15 into the gas tank, rolled the tank as recommended. Waited 96 hours cure time, topped it off with fresh gas and sure enough no leaks. be sure to have clean surfaces
I've used to seal lantern fuel tanks. After a GOOD cleaning ,I put in two table spoons and swish it around to fill any pin holes or seam leaks. The draw back of using this particular sealer is, once the can is opened it is tough to keep it from harding in the can . So if you plan on using it for lantern fuel tanks, better have a few to do at once. Also sometimes I've gotten this brand new from the store and the lid has sealed itself on from the inside, and you better have small airtight container to put it in handy .I've used to seal lantern fuel tanks. Works as designed
The product seals as advertised, however, anything larger than a small mower tank you will need several cans to get proper coverage. That's where cost comes in, it may be cheaper to buy a new tank. Plan on destroying the can when opening it, the instructions tell you this and they are correct.

POR-15 did its job sealing my rusted gas tank for a CBR400 RR bike. Been having an issue of rust for a long time and now it has ended. I just hope this product will last a long time. But as of now, I can say it really did its job
