This is a orginal 1964 Studebaker GT hawk ready to restore. It was bought new in FT Worth texas by a Mechanical Engineer and has remained in Central Texas all its life. It has the following options. 289 AFB four barrel., Power disc brakes, power stearing, Factory AC, Full Dash with tach and clock, Factory AM/FM Radio, Three speed with overdrive on colume. The car has been in storage since the original owner died in 1990. It has been setting on my carport for the last five years and that is why it is getting surface rust blush. Most of the paint is orginal. It has minimal rust in the floors and i striped the carpet out when i got it. There are a couple small places in the trunk by the sending unit hole that would need patching. It has a old repair showing on the right rear quarter. There is a small bend on the left front fender behing the wheel. Other than these it is a very solid car. This car has never been hot roded, fixed up or restored so you will not have to fix a bunch of shade tree repairs. The interior is orginal so you can tell this car was not left out side in the yard in the hot Texas sun. I have a set of stainless that goes with the car to replace two or three of the top pieces that have dents. Included is a extra grill also. I had it running this week on a gas can and it runs good with good oil presure. I was able to drive it arround the yard and the Transmission was smooth and the clutch felt good. The brakes are not working. The gas in the tank has turned to poop. I have a good gas tank included with the car. Payment is a $500. right now deposite and the remainder within seven days of the auction closing in the form of cash in person or cashiers check. Check will have to clear which will take 10 business days at least before car can be released. Buyers in the lower 48 states only unless pree approved. Removal is within 45 days of auction closing. I will assist loading for your shipper during normal business hours. I had a carrier call me at 2 in the morning one time wanting to pick up a car at 4am. E-mail me for questions or contact info. It is hard to picture them. They will need some repair but not replacing pans. The doors close good and the hinge and latch pillar bases are solid. The trunk floor rear corners are good.
