You're looking at a NEW front Kevlar band for the Torqueflite 727, 518, and 618 transmissions. This band works in any year. This is a must for high HP, heavy abuse applications, but is definitely recommended if you just want to increase the life or durability of any transmission. Stock, these transmissions always have a problem with burning the band. Kevlar is designed to withstand the heat that a transmission produces when being used for off-road, towing, racing, or even just every day driving. Kevlar also has much more holding power than any other type of band. You'll notice a difference in the way the transmission shifts, it won't slide into gear as much as it did with the stock or even the Red bands. Remember to soak your band in tranny fluid for thirty minutes before you install it. Please look at my other items for great deals on torque converters, shift kits and other transmission part.
