We have gone back to the drawing board and increased the battery energy storage capacity. We are using A123 cells with a capacity of 9.6 Amp Hours, while keeping it all inside the original battery housing. WE have kept the plug in option intact and added capacitors ,also inside to increase performance on acceleration and braking. This also gives the Lithium Ion cells added life. A: It can go twice as far as the stock pack or about 34 miles. If you plug it in to recharge you can get over 100 miles per gallon. The top speed will not change since the gas engine and electric motor remains the same.
