A fully restored 1966 Triumph T120R Bonneville. Matching numbers DU 35324. Clear Texas title. Approximately 25 miles after restoration, bike was placed in private collection. In preparation for sale, fluids were changed, carbs disassembled and cleaned, and new battery fitted. Cranks first kick, runs, rides and shifts as it should. Doesn't leak! Ready to ride or show.
Restoration included engine rebuild with new pistons, bearings and bushings in engine and gearbox, clutch plates, wheel bearings, new Amal 389 Carbs, cables, rear chain and sprocket, new seat and correct Dunlop K70 tires. Speedometer and tachometer were rebuilt by Nisonger Instruments. New mufflers and pipes. Rechromed levers and original correct Dunlop rims, stainless spokes. Powder coated frame, cad plated correct fittings in most applications. Correct and outstanding paint job on tank with color from Don Hutchinson. Correct NOS Amal Grey grips and correct working Lucas 8H horn.
Sorry, I do not have the correct stock air filters and even though the side stand is on the bike, it is slightly too long and needs to be replaced with the correct one. Also, the lug for side car fitment underneath the frame loop is missing. The lower bottom member of the left fork has a scratch in the black paint as shown in the photo.
