I bought this car to use a few parts for my restoration but I ended up with an opportunity to purchase the parts instead and chose to do that. I felt that it would be a shame to part this car out since there are so few solid TR4's left. Although it is rough from sitting inside a shed, it appears to have relatively low miles on the engine (although I don't have any way of confirm that) OVERVIEW: 1964 Triumph TR4 - Very solid car that could use a restoration, there are not many of these car's left. For someone willing to put in some sweat equity you could end up with a relatively high dollar Triumph TR4 when completed. This one's been off the road for many years (last tag 1980) so the mechanical components although they appear ok are of unknown condition. Body has some rust starting on the lower side of the rocker panels but it's minimal. The floor pans and trunk are relatively rust free. The rest of the car is solid and the frame is what you would expect from a car this vintage it does not show and damage/repair or serious rust apart from surface rust. The car appears complete and is rough but all of the doors, trunk, hood open and close nicely and it does not have severe rust like some cars, it's an ideal restoration project or a great parts car. Car is sold as is. I have a replacement taillight lens for to replace the broken one, the trim rings for the headlights and many other misc. parts. I reserve the right to cancel the listing at will :) On Jan-22-12 at 07:45:16 PST, seller added the following information:
