Brand New - Twin Fuel Filter with 2 electric heaters.

This unit has 2 filters and 2 - 12V electric heaters that heat the oil up to between 120 and 180 deg F.

This filter will trap water and sediment.  The divided fuel flows into both filters simultaneously and down into the bottom  where water and sediment is deposited before flowing up through the filter elements providing extremely efficient filtration.  The bottom of these filters have large areas to trap water and sediment that can be seen through the glass bowel and emptied via the bottom drain.  

Water will cause excessive injection pump wear and etch injector openings as well as deteriorate fuel quality causing power loss and injector tip coking. Gray or white exhaust discharge means you are pushing water through your engine even though your fuel looks clean.   Additional water is introduced when the fuel inside the tank is heated by a tank heater or by warm fuel entering through the return line. 

The heaters draw about 6 to 7 amps each @ 12V and are designed to efficiently heat alternate fuel with electricity without having to plumb engine coolant.  It also takes one of the most common industrial fuel filters used worldwide.   

Comes with 3/8 fuel fittings and an extra fitting so you can attach your return line if your fuel system originally was configured with a filter loop back.

This heated filter unit measures approximately 7.5 inches by 10.5 inches should be mounted on the suction  side of the fuel pump.

Don't be fooled by other units that use an unpractical wrapped band that heats the outside air more than the fuel and requires you to remove the band and then put it on again every time you change the filter.

This is an excellent long term filter that lets you experiment without making such a huge investment and never throw away like plastic units that crack from heating up and cooling down and wrapped bands that break and end up in the trash can.

Don't be fooled by remote oil filter units and household well water filters that have been relabeled for Veg. Oil filters have a bypass and when the filter clogs, the bypass lets unfiltered fuel ruin your injector pump and injectors causing expensive repairs. Household well filters are just that and are not designed for veg.
