It`s very simple to know if a xenon bulb is legal or not; Wattage and Whiteness. It`s now well-knowned that high wattage bulbs such as 100w and 80w are not only lasting an average of 70% less time ( from a shame ½ hr to 180hrs! ) than Legal wattage ( 200hrs to 900hrs ), they are also dangerous for your vehicle (avoid vehicle`s warranty, melt wires, can result in fire, alternator/batterie/computer`s damages, etc..) and are illegal in many places. You should always have the bulb`s wattage that your car is built for. Also the famous "blue tint" effect or K measurement. I would absolutely not recommend using over (supposely rated) 4850K bulbs because first of all it`s illegal in many places and its actually only plain bulbs that are overcoated of blue coating to "cheat" the Kelvin temperature measurement, and the result ?
