There is no chipped paint or rust. 2.) Driver seat has had a repair to the cloth at the left side bolster but looks very good. Seats otherwise has exceptable wear for its year but no other tears are present. 3.) some paint work is present for cosmetic reasons. At our dealership we work very hard to accurately describe our vehicles through text descriptions and elaborate photos. When you purchase a pre-owned vehicle it is not a new vehicle. All sales transactions must be completed within 5 days of auction close. Deposit We require a $1500 deposit within 3 days of winning the auction. Founded in 1984, Universal Imports of Rochester specializes in the sales of fine pre-owned European cars complemented by expert service and regular maintenance programs. Our sales and service teams have years of experience with all European car brands including Audi, BMW, Mercedes Benz, Volvo, Porsche, VW, Jaguar and Saab as well as Asian and Domestic models. Our rich history in the import car business started back in the late 1960s by our founder, Günter Fuerbacher. Günter and his wife Astrid move from Germany to Rochester, NY in 1966. Günter quickly established himself in the automotive field by importing specialty European vehicles to clients throughout the United States. This was followed by many years of working in management at large import dealerships in the Northeast. Günter recognized a market where customers wanted fine pre-owned European cars without paying new dealership prices. Universal Imports opened for business in 1984 out of the front porch of the Fuerbacher family homestead in Fairport, NY. It wasn’t long before the demand grew for this new way to purchase a high quality import vehicle. Customers, fed up with high dealer prices and the lack of personal service, finally found what they were looking for and the business grew rapidly. After a few years, Universal Imports expanded their sales and service operation in East Rochester, New York. It was about that time when Günter and Astrid’s Son Mark and Daughter Andrea came into the family business. After the addition of a Body shop which is still located in East Rochester, Universal Imports grew once more by adding an 18,000 square foot service facility at the current location at 834 Linden Ave. in Pittsford NY. Now, Universal Imports enjoys an extensive customer base and great service and sales facility as well as their Body Shop and the room for more growth in the future. Universal Imports stays on the cutting edge of auto service technology as well as expanding there sales reach to include not only Rochester but the United states and Canada as well as many cars being sold to various overseas locations. Mark Fuerbacher has now been working along side his Father for 18 years perfecting the art of finding our customers exactly the car they desire at the right price.
